Kuberntes 1.30 is released n April-2024 , creating this issue to bring the support for kubernetes 1.30 for the OTel Operator.

Support for k8s 1.30

At the most basic level, for us to claim support for 1.30 requires us to be able to run our e2e tests on it. This, in turn, requires kind to support 1.30, which I don't believe is the case yet.

@vasireddy99 thank you for moving the 1.30 release for kind forward! Would you like to add support for 1.30 for us by creating the config for kind in the repo? I would happily assign this issue to you if so :)
