while it is true we do not officially support MathML, there has been interest reported due to accessibility concerns.

Any insight? do we need to explicitly allow MathML to render? I see no reasons even if Katex is better from a rendering perspective. But MathML is similar to Katex in plain-text readability.

I am surprised anything renders. Adding a MathML along with LaTeX renderer would be some work. There are converters between the two. LaTeX works well, but I think we need to document it. It is not in the current User's Guide.
