BEFORE OPENING AN ISSUE

Issue Policy

• LIBRARY RELATED ISSUES ONLY HERE!
• DUPLICATE ISSUES WILL BE CLOSED
• ANY ISSUES THAT WILL BE OPENED AS A QUESTION WILL BE CLOSED

Before you open an issue, please go through the following questions to avoid being ghosted and having your issue closed:

• Is this a problem caused by your code, or is it specifically because of the library?
• Have you double-checked the documentation or the guide and still haven't found answers?
• Have you searched using the search field below the pinned issue for the keywords/phrases related to the topic of your issue?

If it is a feature request:

• Is the feature you are looking for already implemented by the library? Check the guide and also the documentation. If possible also check closed issues and understand why a feature is impossible to add.
• Is your "solution" already implemented by an opened pull request? If so and you have already opened a PR, you can freely close it.
• Can the web version of WhatsApp Web deliver such functionality at the moment? If not but the library can, please make some demonstration proof of concept or project doing this.

• Mozilla's JavaScript guide or Codecademy (there are free and paid courses on Codecademy, but take the free ones especially Node.js and JavaScript) for any of you that are having issues with the fundamentals of JavaScript. Please don't randomly comment on issues asking to have your code fixed, get your JavaScript in place and save us and yourself some time. These resources will set you off to become a great programmer that doesn't need other people's help to solve a problem.
• Node.js documentation and the get involved pages to get more experience with Node.js (which whatsapp-web.js uses).
