I am a former serial entrepreneur and university professor in my 50s, learning a new life on the path. As of 2022, I'm helping Ecolise in preparing Horizon Europe funding proposals in order to apply lessons learned from ecovillages and permaculture to the European agriculture in the wider scale.
In my past life, I was a software architect and lead programmer for over 30 years, mostly focusing on embedded and IoT. In 2017–2022, I had the pleasure of enjoying academic freedom at Aalto University. My brother still works there.
In addition to embedded and and IoT, I also did quite a lot of work on understanding how distributed ledger technologies (aka blockchains) could be used to build non-rival and anti-rival compensation methods, leading us to a post-capitalistic world.
I prefer e-mail for communication, and don't answer to cold phone calls. I don't follow social media.
