Expected Behavior

so that I can connect to the server

Actual Behavior

once the server is launched I cannot join the server this resembles the bug of early April on windows I specify my ports are open

Step 1 Install Egg proton
Step 2 Launch
Step 3 Connect to palworld (Erreur)

Known issue with Proton, not something fixable w/o an update from either Proton or Pocketpair that undoes whatever broke it earlier this month

The fix is to literally CD into the folder and then start the exe. Remember to also remove the UE4SS.dll and dwmapi.dll as the current release causes connection issues too.

cd /home/container/Pal/Binaries/Win64; proton run ./PalServer-Win64-Shipping-Cmd.exe
