Explaining https://github.com/percolatestudio/meteor-synced-cron#caveats

I'm interested in using this package for one of my projects, but I was hoping to get some more info on the Caveats section (https://github.com/percolatestudio/meteor-synced-cron#caveats).

Is this only a problem for apps on free tiers? Or would this also be a problem for apps that auto scale?

Specifically, I'm looking to host using modulus (https://modulus.io), but some more light on why this happens/what the error looks like would be very helpful.

+1 I would also like to know if synced-cron will run as expected on modulus.io.

I just wanted to follow up and say I believe this package works just fine on modulus.io hosting from my experience.

It will work fine on a dedicated host, have used it successfully on modulus.io and Galaxy. I think this section was put into play for the old free Meteor hosting where apps without traffic would shut down and then be started fresh upon traffic. It is likely not relevant anymore since Meteor dropped the free tier.
