PUT stalls without any response.

I'm using PUT command while sending files through SFTP. In most cases it works just fine but I have one server that doesn't work. When PUT command is called the code stalls and never returns anything, terminal just hangs untill I manually stop it. Now on this sever every other command works fine (for example get, pwd) so its just PUT that is the problem. I have tried regular PUT and option with SFTP::SOURCE_LOCAL_FILE. Here is what is interesing I can PUT to this server just fine from my local environemnt however on production environment we are using proxy so my only guess is that somehow using proxy is colliding somehow with PUT. I can upload the logs if needed (the are a few thousand lines). So to sum it up I can connect and login fine I can use get() and pwd() but can't use put() that stalls and doesn't log or return anything. It's also worth mentoning that PUT with proxy works for different servers

Yah the logs would be helpful. Are the SSH2 logs or SFTP logs? Both would be good but if you could only do one or the other the SSH2 logs would be better as, in theory, the SFTP logs could be extracted from them.

Can you do sudo /usr/sbin/sshd -ddd -p2222 on the SSH server you're connecting to and then use phpseclib to connect to that same SSH server on port 2222?

All I can tell from the logs is that the server isn't sending anything. I can't discern why from the phpseclib logs. Imma need to see what the servers rationale for this behavior is to have an idea of how to fix it.

Ahh I can't ssh into this server only sftp unfortunately. Thank you for your effort. Is there anything else we could try?

Can you give me the PuTTY logs? You can enable logging in PuTTY by going to putty.exe, selecting the Logging category and checking "SSH packets". Then go back to the Session category, type in a session name (say phpseclib) under "Saved Sessions" and hit the Save button. Once you've done that go to psftp and load the session by doing something like "psftp -load phpseclib" or something (depending on what you named the session).

I can't use PuTTy on the server that is the problem here, I could try from my local environment but from my local environment everything works just fine, I have requested logs from the owner of that server it should be deliver at the begging of august maybe those logs will be helpful somehow.
