cannot forward ports on macbook pro m1

Everything works except port forwarding , i.e. I can add cluster, resource , but pressing |> button doesn't make local port available. It doesn't throw any exception, changes button icon from |> to || and that's it

BTW kubectl works at the same time

Just FYI, I am on M1 MacBook Pro, port forwarding works fine for me.
