Mull over possible linkages between the map/directory/index and the resource library

@jhung wondered if geographically-specific resources in the library could be displayed while browsing the map or otherwise using the directory. Even if technically possible, it seems that there'd be a lot of ongoing chatter between the map/directory/index and the library as people zoomed and panned. It might be better to create search URLs that would hit the resource library when the user was ready.

Anyway, this issue can hold other ideas for cross-resource interactions.
