See https://forum.polkadot.network/t/multi-asset-treasury-and-milestone-based-spends/6780/6 for details. I think the UI sees u128 and thinks "that must be DOT"? Anyway, it seems to modify user input.

Feature Request

Support making multi-asset Treasury proposals directly in the UI so that people don't need to use the Extrinsics tab.
