Better ternary formating style (even more like an if-else block)

I found many variation of styles of ternary format hard to read and understand.
Why don't we make them even more like an if-else block with brackets?
Brackets makes it much easier to read and understand (code editors highlights it).

1. if...else with separate lines

const animalName =
  pet.canSqueak() ? (
    'mouse'
  ) : (
    pet.canBark() ? (
      pet.isScary() ? (
        'wolf'
      ) : (
        'dog'
      )
    ) : (
      pet.canMeow() ? (
        'cat'
      ) : (
        pet.canSqueak() ? (
          'mouse'
        ) : (
          'probably a bunny'
        )
      )
    )
  );

2. if...else with brackets only when there is not a primitive value

const animalName =
  pet.canSqueak() ? 'mouse' : (
    pet.canBark() ? (
      pet.isScary() ? 'wolf' : 'dog'
    ) : (
      pet.canMeow() ? 'cat' : (
        pet.canSqueak() ? 'mouse' : 'probably a bunny'
      )
    )
  );

3. if...else if...else (with brackets only when there is not a primitive value or it is if..else-if..elseternary)

    pet.canSqueak() ? (
        'mouse'
    ) : pet.canBark() ? (
        pet.isScary() ? 'wolf' : 'dog'
    ) : pet.canMeow() ? (
        'cat'
