How can I enable "explicitResourceManagement" parser plugin for parser "typescript"?

When using default "typescript" parser and explicit resource management, prettier will raise an error:

So how can I enabling the parser plugin? I've searched for specify prettier parser option, but I cannot find anything related.

I know that changing parser to babel-ts can work, but babel-ts parser currently not working well with another plugin.

What's strange about this is that if you install the babel plugin and then run

yarn prettier --check --plugin '@babel/plugin-proposal-explicit-resource-management' .

... it works. Maybe because explicitly specifying the --plugin argument causes babel-ts to be used instead?

But adding @babel/plugin-proposal-explicit-resource-management to .prettierrc plugins does nothing.

(it's just odd that manually specifying works)

In the latest version of prettier, just using babel-ts does the trick, but unfortunate that you're having conflicts with other plugins.

As you mentioned above, I'm using prettier extension of vscode, so I'd expect specifying it inside prettierrc. But I havn't check if extension support providing extra options, I'll do it later.

Yeah, I have a hung that the argument is pushing prettier to use babel-ts anyways, but I haven't tested it.

Support was added to the underlying parser in this PR. Should be released as of 7.8.0.

That said, I think prettier still has a hangup about it, and I'm not entirely sure why. In the typescript-eslint project itself, they ignore files using explicit resource management:
