I'm just starting to attempt to answer this question as well, I'm surprised its not as clearly covered, I presume the expectation is folks are used to working with the octokit. I'm new to octokit but at this point I think I'm going to just attempt to authenticate it directly. have you had any forward movement? |

Yep I used this to make a lil express middleware to enrich the request object with context-like octokit. In our use case the concern raised in the final message doesnt apply so the code is ok mostly as is. |
