XR examples bugs #135
Comments
Hmmmm, that's really weird. It definitely doesn't do that in my other XR projects, so there must be something unique going on there. I'll look into it. |
any news ? :) |
Hello, to add my experience to this, when using my Quest 2 I get roughly 1 fps in "XR mode" but in the quest browser "window mode" it runs just fine, I checked the developer console via chrome and see no errors, just a couple of warnings, the last two are after the XR session is started. Also I node that using the chrome WebXR API Emulator extension the frame rate is running fine. |
For me, when I run the examples on a quest 3 they perform fine, unless I rotate my head, then performance is imploding to A fps or so. I did a performance snapshot using chrome remote debug and it continuosly looks allright, all frames rendered in a few milliseconds but yet the experience on the headset is terrible. |
Hi,
It seem's that there are a few bugs in examples when in XR mode (I'm using an Oculus Quest 2). I think theses bugs are known but i didn't found any related tickets.
Let's say that : on every examples, each time i'm using the button's controller to click on a button or select something, the scene become crazy, rotated/moved violently.
