Steps to reproduce the behavior:
sudo apt-get install g++ git bazel
git clone https://github.com/protocolbuffers/protobuf.git .
bazel build :protobuf
What did you expect to see
libraries of some sort in the
bazel-bin
directoryWhat did you see instead?
three directories: external, src, and third_party
Make sure you include information that can help us debug (full error message, exception listing, stack trace, logs).
Anything else we should know about your project / environment
I'm just trying to get the protobuf runtime libraries built from source.
