The purpose of provider-defined functions is to encapsulate offline, computational logic beyond Terraform's built-in functions to simplify practitioner configurations.

Use cases for Pulumi:

  • convert more TF programs seamlessly
  • enable Pulumi YAML users to access richer functions library than is made available in Pulumi YAML stdlib
  • please comment with your use case here
