Specifying Python version

How would I configure PyBuilder to use a specific Python version?
It creates a venv but uses a version which is currently in my system but I need a different one.

You don't configure PyBuilder. You just create a virtualenv using the desired version of Python, install Pybuider into it and then run it.

Oh, I see.
I thought since PyBuilder is creating a virtual env already and pulling in all installed Python versions it could actually select a specific one instead.
But okay...

PyBuilder does create virtual environments based on the one its in to run unit and integration tests and install tooling to prevent root venv pollution. But it does not manage versions of Python.
