When I build the code on windows, it successfully builds but then the system is not able to recognise the script file name as a command. This is not the case in MacOS.

Thank you for the report. Could you please attach the failing script? Any specific error you receive?

It says command not found even after the build is successful.

Can you provide a reproducible example? Directory tree printout?
There is virtually nothing to go on in your description.
