  • pár testimonials lidí, kteří v PSF už jsou - napsali byste někdo jednu českou větu každý kdo už v PSF jste o tom, co vám to přineslo a proč tam jste? Kdo tam už jste? @honzakral @encukou @hroncok @kvbik @aleszoulek ...? (já tam jsem taky, ale nic tam nedělám)
  • jednoduchý návod jak si zažádat od PSF grant na svůj event?

Jsem zaregistrovaný ale jen jako ten základní člen. Zkusím postup na contributing member, jak je to těžké. A zjistím, jestli to má nějakou jinou výhodou, než si to můžeš psát do bia.

Jdu odsud sem, kde se dostávám zase sem.

Section 4.8. Contributing Members. To be eligible for membership as a Contributing Member, a person must declare their intention to be a Contributing Member to the corporation in writing, by e-mail or through other electronic means approved by the Board of Directors and such person must commit to working at least five hours per month on projects that advance the mission of the Python Software Foundation, where the work relates to the creation or maintenance of open source software available to the public at no charge.

Contributing Members must certify through a method approved by the Board of Directors, that such member met and will continue to meet the requirements set forth in this Section 4.8 in order to remain a Contributing Member for the following year.

Jdu deklarovat svůj zájem se stát Contributing Memberem. Nevím jaká je schválená metoda dokazování, ale prostě popíšu co dělám. (Posláno.)

Hi Miro,

Thank you for your interest and we appreciate your commitment.

First, you'll need to be a PSF Basic Member. Please follow the steps below:

  1. If you do not have a python.org account, create one: https://www.python.org/accounts/signup/
  2. Once you have an account, log in if you are not yet logged in and proceed to https://www.python.org/users/membership/
  3. Fill out the form accordingly and click "save profile". At that point you will receive a confirmation message "Your membership information has been saved successfully."

After that, please complete the form to become a Contributing/Managing Member of the PSF.: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfwWBGkzvkWDZrxW3up_M_B7qgt1IWZlx9KJ0ucLA5WJP1vfA/viewform.

Best Regards,

Betsy

Hi,

Congratulations on becoming a managing PSF Member. We appreciate everything you do for the Python Community. A few things to get started:

Check out the PSF Member Welcome Wiki page1.
If you have chosen to be a voting member, we have already subscribed you to the PSF Vote Mailing List2. Keep in mind that in order to keep your voting status, being subscribed to this mailing list is necessary.

Join in on the PSF Community Mailing List3. The purpose of the psf-community mailing list is to provide an environment where pythonistas can communicate with a large audience, share experiences, launch projects, and/or discuss their Python & OSS interests. This community mailing list will have public archives, accessible to everyone.

In order to nurture a friendly environment, we ask that you familiarize yourself with our Code of Conduct4 and be kind and respectful of one another. Mailing list discussions can get intense and tend to spike in volume from time to time. If you are caught in a heated discussion, keep the discussion focused on issues rather than the personalities involved. A good approach is to wait overnight to send emotional responses to messages.

Best wishes,

Betsy
