Hi @ceki

This opened issue is currently scheduled for 1.2.20 milestone, which has been released.
However I could not find any associated commit. Did you work on it in 1.2.20 ?

Thank you for the good question. I started working on improving AsyncAppender performance but realized than the change require more time than I had. I reschedule it for 1.2.21.

@ceki This opened issue is still targeted for 1.2.21 which has already been released, however I could not see any related commit.
Maybe you need to reschedule it again ?
