org.apache.log4j.rolling.RollingFileAppender is well known as a better alternative to org.apache.log4j.RollingFileAppender
yet the only way to obtain it is via log4j:apache-log4j-extras:1.2.17 - which also includes all of log4j:1.2.17

could reload4j include classes from extras jar as well?

Also from same package if you could add org.apache.log4j.rolling.TimeBasedRollingPolicy?
