Looks like there is support for different chat systems, such as Slack. Matrix server is a privacy focused decentralized chat and VOIP... I would request creating a bridge for Matrix. It too, has a Slack bridge and may be something to leverage with this system.

Interesting, we could use https://pkg.go.dev/maunium.net/go/mautrix

This seems like a good idea but I don't use Matrix myself and so it would be hard for me to test out whatever I develop. I'll ask active devzat users if they have any experience with Matrix.

Also, would a Matrix Devzat plug-in be a better way to accomplish this?

I personally don't use Matrix but I feel it would make total sense to add a Matrix bridge. As one of us could host the Matrix server, testing would be rather easy.

I am running a Matrix Server on matrix.pptie.de.

I can give you admin if you want or other help...
I want to work on it but may not have the time...
