Its a pretty big chunk that gets added and in a list when i use the same icon 20-30 times my brain at least thinks it must be better to include some code at the top of the page and then just reference and save some bytes and / or processing.
I realize that gzip handle this pretty well but the browser still have to parse it and Lighthouse Page Speed is still warning about "Avoid an excessive DOM size" and so on.
What do you guys say? Is there some way of improving the performance of the page / the score in lighthouse here? If yes, what can i do? Or should i spend my time on something else :)

I'm trying to find every performance gain i can find i have noticed that when i include icons every one of them is inlined in the document.
