When upgrading to a new version, how do I know which icons changed or got removed?

This should be at the core of the package: make it simple to know which icons (among those used in the project) got renamed, removed, or changed.

As of now, I'm afraid to upgrade, especially to the next major version, because I have no idea what icons have changed and how, if at all; which ones were renamed, and which ones got removed.

Could you please give a recipe, or create a tool, that I can run over my codebase and specify the new version I'm about to upgrade to, and get a visual report of all the changes.
