Linux: no TTS read aloud audio, just text highlighting and no progress #30

So, it may be that WebSpeech API is not completely supported on Linux with the version of Chromium in Electron 1.8.8 (to be determined by compiling and running the app from a Linux box, rather than using the pre-built installers, so we can get more debugging done).

We have plans to migrate to Electron 3 or 4, we even have a trial ( readium/r2-testapp-js#14 ). However we are focusing on releasing stabilized updates to the current Electron variant, so this'll have to wait.

Works fine in Window 10 and MacOS.
