Hello everyone,
I'm using redis-cli and redis-benchmark version 6.2.7 running on a Amazon Linux EC2 instance (
Linux ip-10-24-8-248.us-west-2.compute.internal 6.1.19-30.43.amzn2023.aarch64 #1 SMP Wed Mar 15 14:44:03 UTC 2023 aarch64 aarch64 aarch64 GNU/Linux
)My redis is an AWS Elasticache for Redis with the engine version 6.2.6.
redis-cli
To connect to my Elasticache i run the following command:
redis-cli -c -h $redis_endpoint -p $redis_port -a $redis_password --tls
The first time I connected to my cluster I got the error
error: server closed the connection
runnig theset
command. After this first execution, everything started to work.Is this expected ?
redis-benchmark
Until now i have executed the redis benchmark two times with the follwoing commands
For every run I get the follwing error message:
But the test run ... "just fine"
At the end of the execution, i get:
Error from server: MOVED <random port> <host>:<port>
If I try to use the
--cluster
with the redis-benchmark i get:Invalid cluster: 1 node(s).
Are these expected behaviors ?
I'm asking this to avoid any confusion when doing a "real" benchmark using this tool. :)
Thanks.
