Upgrade poetry when a new version comes out

What you tried so far.

We have installation in dockerfile like this:

FROM python:...

ENV POETRY_VERSION=1.6.1

RUN pip3 install poetry==${POETRY_VERSION}

And we use this custom regex

But then it seems from the logs, renovate can't find the version matching poetry in Pypi

It may be better, but it's not minimal. Just delete everything if you have any doubts. We don't debug reproductions unless/until the config is minimal.

your dockerfile is inside a test folder which is ignored by the default renovate preset

The Dockerfile being inside test folder was the issue when reproducing 🤦
pdonorio/renovate-poetry-docker#8

I've also cleaned up more the config,
so the existing problem in our private repo is within our config - sic

Quick update:
turns out the problem we had is related to this issue
as we have rollbacks enabled

Disabling it for poetry only is our current workaround
