This error means that the template.compile threw an exception. I'd guess the problem is that you're trying to nest a replace inside a replace |

Hi there, Get your discussion fixed faster by creating a minimal reproduction. This means a repository dedicated to reproducing this issue with the minimal dependencies and config possible. Before we start working on your issue we need to know exactly what's causing the current behavior. A minimal reproduction helps us with this. Discussions without reproductions are less likely to be converted to Issues. To get started, please read our guide on creating a minimal reproduction. Good luck, The Renovate team |

What would you like help with?
I would like help with my configuration

I took over maintenance of an older terraform monorepo that used a template for
semanticCommitScope
.Our self-hosted renovate was wedged on an older version, and after fixing that, renovate updated and found a config issue with:
Basically, what this used to do (from a comment):
Turn infra/layer/<region>/foo-bar-module into infra/layer/<region>
I've done some experimenting, and there doesn't seem to be a way to use
replace
inside ofsemanticCommitScope
.Is there a way to do this with newer versions of renovate and achieve the same result?
