I'm using a merge queue with Pulumi to ensure that changes don't get merged that can't cleanly apply in the terraform sense. I tried doing this via branch merge to reduce the considerable email noise and it resulted in comments saying

Branch automerge failure

This PR was configured for branch automerge. However, this is not possible, so it has been raised as a PR instead.

I checked the logs and it looks like renovate is forgetting to enqueue commits with this strategy.

Branch automerge is not possible if you require github merge queue
