What would you like help with?I would like help with my configuration How are you running Renovate?Mend Renovate hosted app on github.com If you're self-hosting Renovate, tell us which platform (GitHub, GitLab, etc) and which version of Renovate.n/a Please tell us more about your question or problemHello, I've got some monorepo/grouped dependencies which I want to keep grouped together for minor and major updates (using I also want to group all patch updates (for every dependency) into a single PR. However, at the moment my patch updates are all grouped into a single PR except for the monorepo/grouped dependencies, which have their own patch PR. How can I keep the recommended groupings for minor & major updates, but group everything together for patch updates? In the image above, I want the updates in the bottom PR to be included in the middle one, but for the grouped major one at the top to be left as-is. I've created a proof of concept at https://github.com/cmenon12/renovate-monorepo-grouping-poc using Maven. Thank you in advance for your support. Logs (if relevant)Logs

Please make this config change: renovate-reproductions/28787@2a8316c The problem you're seeing is due to the order which config is applied. When in doubt, use packageRules, because they will be ordered as you expect in nearly every case (e.g. config packageRules are ordered/evaluated after presets packageRules). |
