Hello,

first of all thank you for this helpful tool!

I am running Renovate on a composer-based TYPO3 CMS project. It is normal practice to place self-developed TYPO3 extensions (with composer.json) directly inside the project <project-root>/packages/my_example_extension if only used in this single project.
I include these extensions in the project's composer.json with:

"require": {
    "my-company/my_example_extension": "^1.0",
}

I tell composer where to find these packages:

"repositories": {
    "packages": {
      "type": "path",
      "url": "packages/*",
    },
}

Now Renovate stumbles over these extensions and ask at packagist for these package but (of course) cannot find them in the registry:

Failed to look up packagist package company/my_example_extension

My question:
How can I tell Renovate to not look up at packagist for all packages inside this folder but still check their dependencies?

Did you see the registryUrls config option? That can tell Renovate where to find the packages. Read the Renovate docs, registryUrls config option to see if this what you need.

You may need to tighten the scope of the registryUrls config option to a specific datasource, filename, or dependency name, with:

• matchDatasources,
• matchFileNames,
• matchDepNames,
• other match-type config options
