Ungrouping: having the same dependency in separate package files

Hi,

I have .env files consumed by docker-compose for referencing docker images.

APP_IMAGE=myorg/app:1-linux

# config/test.env
APP_IMAGE=myorg/app:2-linux

If I have a new image (e.g: myorg/app:3-linux) only one branch will be created containing changes to both prod.env and test.env .

How could I separate this change into separate branches and have the changes in config/test.env automerged?
