Translating tags into another language before compilation

Hi there,

I'm using version 3.12, and trying to translate tags into another language (ex. French->English) with regex before they are compiled. Tags are loaded using <script .. type="riot/tag"></script> and compiled when the page is loaded. The execution environment is regular javascript (no node).

I saw that there is a compileFromString method, but it doesn't seem to be available for riot 3.

Any idea?
