My suggestion is ...

That we move the mailing list. Github would be ideal except they don't offer this essential feature. A Google Group would probably be the least worst alternative.

Why I want it

Because sourceforget is bound to die soon

Why should this be in rsnapshot and not implemented using some external tool?

It shouldn't :-)
