Description

For reference we are referring to the default issue template (link).

Should editors and technical reviewers be able pick a editorial task (anything labled with help-editing or help-review) and start working on it?

Any example editorial flow can be seen here: #50 (comment)

For context here's the "blog post author requires assistance" issue: #44

A possible way to mitigate against this was to reference the campaign issue: #38

The only problem I can see with this approach is how do you handle ad-hoc requests i.e. those not aligned to a specific campaign.
