There is currently no one leading the community team.

  • Figure out who will be the new team lead.
  • Update the website with the new team lead.

I'm interested in becoming the new lead.

Any progress on this? Should we still find new lead or is it fine that there is no lead for now? Given the current activity, it seems difficult a bit to get approvals from the entire team.

What sort of work is blocked on approvals? I feel like the team has been pretty smoothly operating without a lead.

We came up with a rough plan in the last meeting and will probably refine it in future meetings. Some of this is dependent on larger governance discussions that core needs to have.

Yeah, I think so too. So this issue can be closed for now?

Not necessarily? We may still need to figure out a good long-term structure, I'm just saying that it's not urgent, the subteams have been pretty autonomous and stuff rarely needs approval (though broader discussion is good and that happens monthly at the meetings)

Ah, I agree with that, okay, we can leave this for now and re-visit later.
