It appears the Visual Studio 2019 has a bug where you can't search for custom project templates in the new project dialogue. That means that if you have a ton of project templates it can be difficult to find the Revit 2014-2020 C# Addin template.

This is a known issue with Visual Studio and a fix is on the way. For the moment you'll have to scroll through the list to locate it. It will be there you've just got to look through manually.

Visual Studio Developer Community discussion of the issue.

I'm aware that this isn't an issue with the extension itself but thought it worth adding an issue to this repo in case it helps anyone else.

I tried to search for a template, but I couldn't reproduce the issue
