Struggling to import the Studio into a Hydrogen project #6533

I've got an existing Hydrogen application, and I've tried importing the Studio component into a client-only component. But I get an error stating:

TypeError: (intermediate value).hot.on is not a function

It's quite vague, but I'm wondering if the component should work in this context at all?

I've seen a few examples and have tried applying the ClientOnly as well as using React.lazy, but with no luck.
