You should decide which of the two lines

  • It is easy to edit files
  • It is pretty easy to edit files

represents the correct difficulty of editing files. As it is standing now one of the two reasons is redundant and it is not clear which difficulty of editing files is the correct one.

I wholeheartedly agree. I personally prefer the former, as "pretty" in this case is a milder adjective. Better to just come right out and say it.

The problem is that the statement "It is pretty ease to edit files." is much wider and it actually delivers the purpose of the statement "It is easy to edit files" already.
So I think he should decide which of the lines represent the correct difficulty.
