With this .releaserc.js:

Is the documentation wrong? Docs say I should be able to set assets to false.

The issue is that here:

git/lib/prepare.js

Line 37 in 09e00f9

assets.map(asset => (!isArray(asset) && isPlainObject(asset) ? asset.path : asset)),

isn't expected that assets could be false, as allowed here:

git/lib/resolve-config.js

Lines 6 to 8 in 7756d64

: assets
? castArray(assets)
: assets,

A simple change like:

- const filesToCommit = uniq(
+ const filesToCommit = !assets ? [] : uniq(

here:

git/lib/prepare.js

Line 35 in 09e00f9

const filesToCommit = uniq(

should fix it, I guess.
