When I run serverless deploy or simply serverless I get the error below

@ammaratef45 there's some definitive issue in your setup. What probably could help is removing the installation and installing it again

Problem still present, it's weird though that when I run serverless from any other directory I get something like this

It signals that local (in service) installation of the serverless is broken.

And why it is broken is hard to answer, it depends on what entity attempted to install in service node_modules.

Our interactive setup attempts to install dependencies only if there's package.json included with a template, and for AWS - Node.js - Starter I believe there's no package.json included. Still, if it would attempt it'll simply use npm install behind the scene, and also for I think all templates serverless is not listed as as a dependency - so that still should not resolve in Framework being locally installed, not to mention broken

this is quite weird since I tried a different laptop and it worked like a charm with the same exact code and same commands
