I see many opened issues about this theme

so in short - in comparison to #whatsapp window with 0.1% - is 3% too much

also macbook run funs to cool that down - which make no sense within 3%

If you close the active conversation with Command-Shift-C, does the CPU usage go down? If so, we have a fix coming out in the next beta release.

Wow yet another complaint about CPU that we have all been describing here for the past 4 years: #3542

Spoiler alert: yes, it is still an 'active' thread if you consider ongoing user complaints and dev silence to be 'activity.'

Don't get your hopes up OP! This team knows how to kick the can
