Does not prompt when run out of cron

If I run this out of a terminal emulator, I get the prompt as expected, and it is able to grab the info. But, once I try & execute it out of a cronjob, it fails. I know this has to do with macos's tcc component of SIP, but my familiarity stops there.

This is the error I get:

However, in the preferences pane, there is no such permission request. The option to add it is also lacking.
