If they haven't been loaded yet, it will store undefined things and then reload them next time, I believe. Is that a problem?
(e.g. you log in, load one of 3 roads, then close the page. next time those two unloaded roads could potentially cause issues?)

We should deeply investigate this as soon as we can. Probably combos well with #336
