  • Java source code files must not contain non-US-ASCII characters.
  • Check line endings (LF vs CRLF).
  • Report TODO comments with GitHub issue references for closed issues.
  • Check if all source code files have a copyright header.

Options:

  • SonarQube rules?
  • Gradle plugins?
  • JUnit tests checking source code files?
  • others?
