If a target Pokemon is knocked out on the last turn of the attacker's Dynamax, the target's replacement should switch in first, and then the Dynamax should end. Currently Showdown has the replacement coming in after the Dynamax ends. Something like this can change the outcome of the battle, mainly because if someone isn't paying attention to their opponent's Dynamax counter, they may choose their new Pokemon differently.

I don't have any sample footage and I can't record any as I don't own the games. However, I distinctly remember it happening several times while I was watching playthroughs. I made of note of it while I was watching so I know I wasn't imagining it. It shouldn't be too hard to confirm if this is accurate. You would just need to Dynamax a Pokemon, use Max Guard twice, and then KO the opposing Pokemon in one hit.

Can't you just re-watch playthroughs and link me to the relevant parts? This does sound important enough for that.
