Hi there. Someone brought to my attention that Showdown has 40x30 sized sprites for Pokémon sprites introduced in Gen 8. E.g. the gmax icons on this spritesheet and others.

I maintain PokéSprite, a box and item sprite database that also contains custom shiny versions for each sprite (some recent examples here). I'd love to be able to add these images to the database, so that they can be used in conjunction with other Gen 7 style 40x30 sprites. My project is designed for anyone to use freely for any purpose.

I was hoping I could get permission for this, and also I'm wondering where I can find the source files. This repo only seems to contain the larger 68x56 style sprites. Also, I'm wondering if shiny versions exist for these? I'm guessing not, but I could make these and contribute them back to the project.

I'd appreciate any help. 🙂

Any movement on this one? I'm a user of pokesprite and it would be a great help to layout to have more reasonably sized icons where possible :)
