"Value is required after -+" #450

I think my installation is correct, since it works. But when doing diff I get:

Value is required after -+
-  (press RETURN)

If I press ENTER diff is shown.
Any idea how to solve this?

Can you share the relevant lines of your git config?

Sounds like it's something failing to parse options, as in instead of foobar -a -b -c you have a trailing - without an option, or something.
