Xcom 2 WoTC crash when run from LSI snap #56

Xcom 2 War of the Chosen crashes after a short period of time when run from the LSI snap.

The game launches and runs OK but will crash after a short period of time (less than 5 mins), the crash can occur anywhere within the game; in mission, in menus, in character creator, etc.

The game doesn't appear to know it has crashed, no errors are printed to the command line and no dump files are generated.

The crash occurs with the native runtime both enabled and disabled, I have attached the logs for both runs.

I am using an AMD R9 270 GPU with the open source drivers.

Host OS: ElementaryOS 0.4.1 (Ubuntu 16.04.3)
Kernel: 4.13.0-26-generic
Host Mesa: 17.2.4
