Cant seem to install anything but the default OpenJDK 17 version #708

Not sure if I am missing something, but if I run with the default OpenJDK 17 URL then the install works, however if I download 17.0.2 or 17.0.9 to our internal source and provide the URL and checksum the file is downloaded and extracted yet the install does not run and the alternatives are not set.

What is the correct process to follow if using anything other that the default OpenJDK 17 version and URL?
